This is a document that looks to gain an insight into the lives of Algerian women in the streets and homes of the capital ‘Algiers’. It depicts the reality of sexual harassment that most, if not all women, are confronted with daily.

 

Bringing together the testimonies of four young Algerian women, sequenced and interpreted into a unique dance piece performed by Franco-Algerian dancer and choreographer ‘Mozzaïka’ on the roofs of the historic ‘Casbah’, a stronghold for the Algerian resistance during the fight for independence.
