Untitled: 18 Artists, a collaborative album project of the lasting inspiration of the life and work of seminal artist Jean- Michelle Basquiat. On the occasion of his 1st ever solo exhibition in London, Lonely Table and Vinyl Factory commissioned a multi- session studio project bringing various British Artists from across the UK to write and record based on their relationship and experience of Basquiat's work in their personal and creative journeys.  From Mala to Shabaka Hutchings, Kojey Radical, Wulu, Nubya Garcia and many more, the music and narrative brought to light the lasting intrinsic stamp of Basquiat's influence throughout music to this day and how his story and process still remains a reference for many creatives moving forward.

Commissioned to art direct and build the visual universe around the project, the artwork and documentation looked at both the imagery made by and of the Artist. Emulating a cross section of the physicality of his process, means, and attitude, while considering the real influence his aesthetic inspired as well. Finding a balance between the disruptive energy his simple existence provided at the time and rejection of the false idols of the industry that tried to co-opt him, and the peace of mind of what his legacy has meant for Artists then, now and for the future.
